Stockton Farmers was founded in 1984 by Amanda Jones in the small town of Stockton, Missouri. Amanda originally started the bakery to produce high-quality cookies for local customers. By 1999, recognizing the need to diversify, she acquired a respected nut roasting company in nearby St. Paul and began producing Stockton’s nut products alongside Stockton’s cookies. In 2008, anticipating changes in the market, Amanda foresight ensured Stockton Foods would continue thriving, even as competitors expanded.
Over the years, Stockton’s customers grew to expect the exceptional quality of its products. While initially only available locally in Missouri, demand eventually led to distribution across the region, bringing Stockton Foods’ products to grocery and convenience stores near and far.
